A Pregnant Cow? (2007-12-06)
|
I really like Katherine Heigl, I love Grey’s Anatomy, I can stand “40 Year-Old Virgin”, and I too, find some aspects of pregnancy amusing. You would think that this would create the perfect equation that would spell out a great and long-lasting relationship between me and one of this past summer’s hits “Knocked Up”. Although, as many of my other peers filed out of the theatre laughing and recounting their favorite scenes in this film, I was left with the feeling of slight disgust. Like a bad taste in your mouth that you can’t quite seem to get rid of.
This movie’s plot, while however thoroughly enjoyable and amusing, pretty much teaches young adults in today’s society that even if you get pregnant from a complete stranger, even if you are gorgeous, and successful with your whole life in front of you and he is an over-weight, unemployed, pot head, that everything will work out in the end. You two will fall in love, and everyone will live happily ever-after. GOOD MORAL FIBER there Universal Pictures. Way to teach college students good life lessons!!!
All in all, the movie was in fact amusing. Subtract the ending, the vaginal close-up, all the uncomfortable sex, and the horribly annoying cast and it would be a rooster.
ok a chick.

Such A Disappointment...
Ok...so the storyline is cute, in theory, and of course I am a fan of Katherine Heigl. I would have to say that this movie was beneath her talent and was a waste of... (More)
