A Cow YIKES (2007-12-06)

After seeing this movie you’ll never want to stay in a rural hotel again. This film even had me doubting our local Doyle’s Inn, a charming little bed and breakfast owned by Mr. and Mrs. Webb, some of the nicest folks around. But still, as much as I love Mrs. Webb’s homemade pancakes, after this film I’ll be sure to check all vents and corners for hidden cameras. Vacancy was a clever little horror film about a couple, whose car breaks down in the middle of the boonies, and are forced to stay in a creepy hotel. They start to watch some scary videos left in their room, until they discover that all the slasher videos took place in THEIR room, and they are soon to be the next victims!!! (EEek!) I liked this film because of the originality, although a few parts were definitely unrealistic (hard to believe from a slasher film I know!), and the acting was exactly up to par. But it’s another scary movie to add to your creepy collection. If you don’t stay in hotels very often that is.

A Rooster! Not the Best, But Check Out the Extra Features (2009-07-11)

Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale fail to dazzle as the Foxes, a troubled couple who find their way to a backwoods California Motel. They find quickly that this motel is the setting for a horror movie!... (More)

A Rooster! The Fantastic Mr. Fox & Wife Get a Room for the Night (2009-05-24)

"Vacancy" is not your average thriller/slasher film. To the untrained eye, it provides nearly an hour and a half of Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale just trying to stay alive in a sleaze-bag motel... (More)

A Rooster! Don't Become A Star In Your Own Snuff Film! Stay On The Interstate! (2009-05-18)

After watching horror films like "Wrong Turn," you'd think that American drivers would stop taking shortcuts when traveling through the boonies. Stay on the interstate! Obviously, David Fox... (More)
