The First of the Finest (2007-12-10)

I think that the Lord of the Rings series is one of the finest set of films ever. The timing was finally right to have the special effects available to handle such an undertaking. Peter Jackson did a wonderful job of putting all the details into the moives.

This first film sets the stage. It gives you just enough background to get you started and then it's off to the races. A super film that will make you glad the next one is on DVD, because I had to wait a year between each movie.
