A Cow

Not a Bad Cow (2007-10-02)

Blast from the Past is a cute little heifer of a movie starring Brendan Frasier (George of the Jungle) and Alicia Silverstone (Excess Baggage). Adam (Frasier) is born in a bomb shelter and lives there until his father believes the surface radiation has subsided (35 years later). When he emerges, Adam meets Eve (Silverstone) and the fun starts. Now living in a bomb shelter underground for 35 years wouldn't be much fun. Unfortunately, the first hour of the movie is about Adam's life in the bomb shelter with his mother and father. To understand the movie, we need to know that Adam's parents brought him up to be well educated, polite, and very retro. It did not take an hour to get the idea across. The second half of the movie has some great situations and some great lines. It generally makes the entire movie worthwhile. My recommendation is to rent this one and eat a TV dinner during the first half. Blast is a happy cow.

I was so happy to find an unused copy of this film. The seller enclosed a very nice note to contact him if I was unsatified. I was very satified with this transaction (More)
