Keep the Kurt Coming! (2007-12-15)
We are having some pretty nasty weather here in Doyle Bluffs, so we don't have alot to do except catch up on watching some movies. Since we don't play many movies at our local Maverick theatre, we are blowing the dust of some films from the rental store.
Rafin Plum owns the Video store, and yes we still have videos along with our DVDs. I decided on a little Kurt Russell double feature. I watched "Soldier" first and then finished off the evening with Captain Ron. This funny movie is nearly twenty years old but will still bring a smile. Playing an old salty-dog boat captain with an eye-patch that he moves from eye to eye, gave a wink to his eye patch days as Snake Pliskin in Escape from New York.
A solid cast and some funny parts. A good rental that wears pretty well.
