Since I'm a fan of Brad & Angie, I just love the movie. One thing I realise though, that some of the deleted scenes can't be found in Disc 2. Not sure why. Maybe there is another collection that I should get. Anyway love the movie very much. Have watched it several times.

Although it says that it is a two-disc collector's edition; however, I only received one disc. Furthermore, the disc I received is actually the cast's interview and not the actual movie!

Ms. Jolie (2009-06-13)

She is hot. Movie is packed with as much sexy as it can handle.

owned two different copies of the DVD.

the blu-ray shows more lush colors and detail throughout the movie. the audio is outstanding; when the Smith's house blows up, i hear objects land throughout my 5 speaker system that i didn't hear with my DVD version.

recommended if you like the idea of 'upgrading'.

Action (2009-05-20)

Content but maybe too comfortable in their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Smith think they know absolutely everything about each other there is to know. And the thrill is gone. Then they find out inadvertently when shooting at each other that they're both hired assassins. And their next hit is their spouse. What follows is a funny, action filled road to finding their way back to a happy marriage

This is just a pure entertaining movie! No deep thoughts, no social, injustice, just fun and simple entertainment!

You have a very attractive actress a very good looking actor, lots of action, and lots of sexual "simmer". Watch the movie just to be entertained, you will like it.

Even Better the Seond Time!! (2009-01-31)

I hadn't seen Mr. and Mrs. Smith since it was in the movie theater. I liked it but only remembered a lot of action and things blowing up. For some reason, I decided to buy it now...and was glad I waited since it says it's a collector's edition.

Watching the movie again on my own tv, there were so many parts I had forgotten. I understood more of it and liked it a lot! As crazy as their life was together,once they found out the truth about each other,I think they got along better and saw each other in a totally different way. Their chemistry was amazing...just one look and you could sense it.
In my opinion, the excitement of their lives and their likes beats any romance.

Mediocrity Defined (2009-01-19)

This is a very overrated movie containing a ridiculous plot and poor casting.

First, the plot (warning - contains spoilers):

The premise is beyond ludicrous. It starts off with a married couple (Mr. and Mrs. Smith) in marriage counseling due to a lack of sizzle their relationship. They have been married for 5-6 years.

As the story unfolds, one learns that they are both assassins working for rival government agencies. During their entire relationship, they have never figured out what each other does for a living in spite of the fact that when they met in Bogota, Columbia, the future Mrs. Smith was currently involved in an assassination and being sought by the police. For such skillful killers, they certainly lack situational awareness. Later on in the show, they end up targeting each other and fail to have any success (depite apparently having the combat skills of Rambo and the Steven Seagal characters combined).

Second, the casting:

Having a pretty boy like Brad Pitt and a prissy actress like Angelina Jolie in the roles of highly skilled assassins is pretty weak.

Overall, this is a predictable movie with a lot of weaknesses. Not recommended.

Not What I Expected (2009-01-13)

I received this video and it looked okay. No visible scratches on the back or anything recognizably wrong. However, there are spots in the dvd that will pause and not play without skipping the scene. This was very disappointing because the seller said it was fine. I hoped that they would have been able to tell me if there were any issues with it. Oh well.
